Symmetry – Ballade in G minor

Processed with Rookie

Symmetry

I’ve always found the last few bars of Chopin’s Ballade in Gmin to be wonderfully symmetrical. Starting far apart, both hands come together in dramatic half steps for a magnificent ending. Wait till you hear it!

By the way, this Ballade was my recital piece. I spent countless hours at the piano learning and practicing the darn thing. You can even see a few written comments from my teacher.
